Driver-Side Lean
One corner sits lower than the other
Park on level ground and measure from the center of each front hub to the fender lip. If the driver side is a quarter to a half inch lower, that isn't your imagination and it isn't a bad spring. It's how these trucks leave the factory — the driver side carries more weight, and lifting the truck exaggerates what was already there.
The wrong fix
Cranking preload into the driver-side coilover. It levels the truck and costs you droop travel, ride quality and shock life. You've traded a cosmetic problem for a real one.
The right fix
A billet shim between the strut and its mount raises that corner without touching preload. Pick the shim that matches the gap you measured, and check whether your application needs a longer bolt kit to go with it.
