Tire Rub & Clearance
Bigger tires catching at full lock or on compression
Rub shows up in three places: the front bumper corners at full steering lock, the bump stop at the top of travel, and the inner fender on compression. Each one has a different fix, so it's worth finding out which one is actually touching before you buy anything.
Sorting it out
Chalk the sidewall and drive it. Where the chalk wears off tells you what's making contact. Rub only at full lock is usually bumper position. Rub on compression is travel and ride height. Rub everywhere is probably too much tire for the setup.
What helps
Bumper shims reposition the front bumper. Strut shims and longer shackles buy ride height. Wheel spacers push the tire away from the inner fender.
